Incident Summary:

02/08/2001: A large car bomb exploded in an ultra-Orthodox Jewish neighborhood of Jerusalem, Israel, outside Meir Yeshiva, a Jewish seminary with 5,000 students. Only one woman was injured in the attack which was claimed by Popular Resistance Committees forces. Members of the group claimed that the attack was their first message to newly elected Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
