Incident Summary:

02/05/2001: A bomb went off in a busy subway station in central Moscow during evening rush hour, injuring at least nine people and stoking terrorism fears in the Russian capital. A bomb consisting of between 200 and 400 grams of TNT was left in a shopping bag on a bench inside Belorusskaya Station. No group claimed responsibility for the bombing.
