11/19/2000: The National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) was suspected of kidnapping seven men and their cattle in the village of Mahane in Namibia. The perpetrators took the victims to Angola, where three of the men escaped. There was no information on the fate of the other four hostages.
