Incident Summary:

11/08/2000: The editorial office of Inter, a major independent regional newspaper, was set on fire in Volgograd, Russia. Unknown perpetrator(s) broke the glass in the windows on the ground floor of the building and threw in two burning torches. Staff stated that at least four Molotov cocktails were also thrown into the room. No one was injured in the attack, which journalists believed was carried out by people who do not like their editorial policy.
