Incident Summary:

11/5/2000: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, intercepted three shepherds in Oued-Rich, Algeria. The assailants abducted one of the shepherds because he admitted to being a former member of the Algerian military. Hours later, the Islamic extremists slit the throat of this individual.
