9/20/2000: Skender Gashi, a commander of the Kosovo Protection Corps (KPC) former commander of the disbanded Kosovo Liberation Army, was found dead in Sopnic village near Orahovac, Kosovo, Yugoslavia. Gashi had been shot six times and his hands had been cut off. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack and the motive is unknown.

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
