9/19/2000: Two bombs exploded in an abandoned house near a crowded local marked in Ambon, the capital of Maluku province, Indonesia. The market was populated with Moslem and Christian shoppers who panicked following the explosion, particularly when security forces began firing shots into the air. Three people were injured as a result of the explosion. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack.
