Incident Summary:

8/24/2000: A blast detonated in a section of the Vladikavkaz-Moscow railway between Stodeyevskaya and Galyugayevskaya stations, in the Kurskiy District of Stavropol Territory, Russia. The explosive device was not properly configured; only the detonator exploded and the rest of the device failed to explode. No one was hurt in the attack and the rail suffered only minor damage. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
