8/24/2000: A bomb detonated at a Basque transport company in Irun, Basque country, Spain. Two trucks were damaged in the explosion but no one was injured. This was one of four bombs placed in Basque country that day. Authorities state that the attack was likely orchestrated by members of Basque Fatherland and Freedom (ETA) in an effort to extort a "revolutionary tax" from business owners.
