Incident Summary:

08/14/2000: Two pro-Moscow civilians were executed by Chechen rebels in Chechnya. Their heads were later displayed on pikes to serve as an example to the local population. Though one of the victims was from the village of Dargo and the other from Belgatoi, southeast of Chechnya, no exact location for the act was given.
