8/7/2000: Two headmasters were killed in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India. One of the victims was a local leader of the Left Front, the ruling party in that state. Members of the Kamtapur Liberation Organization (KLO) are believed responsible. Three suspects were taken into custody.
