7/8/2000: Members of the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) stormed a village near Tipaza, Tipaza province, Algeria. They were armed with guns, axes, and knives. They beheaded eight farmers who were asleep at the time of the attack and shot another farmer that tried to escape.
