Incident Summary:

5/29/2000: Unknown perpetrators, believed to be affiliated with the Islamic insurgency in Algeria, detonated a time bomb on a commuter train travelling near Haouch Tourab, Algeria. Seven civilians were wounded by the blast. Following the explosion, Algerian security forces engaged in a firefight with the assailants that last two hours before the Islamic extremists were able to flee.
