05/20/2000: An unidentified perpetrator planted a bag of dynamite near the Quirino Grandstand at Rizal Park in Manila, Philippines. The bomb was found and defused before it caused any damage. Police suspected that the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) or the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) was responsible for the incident.
