03/07/2000: Maoist Guerillas triggered a land mine near Ghatkesar, India that killed Minister E. Madhav Reddy, his security guard and driver. The guerillas triggered the land mine when the Minister's vehicle was passing through the area. Although no one claimed responsibility, Naxalites were strongly suspected.
