02/09/2000: A claymore land mine, planted by the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), exploded while military troops were traveling in Nallur, Sri Lanka. Three soldiers were killed. After the blast, the miliary shot and skilled suspected LTTE rebels.
