2/2/2000: A bomb was found attached to the tire of a car belonging to Metin Alp, the Director General of Isparta Security, in Isparta, Turkey. A police guard had heard sounds coming from the police station garage and had seen a man running away. Police discovered the bomb and detonated it. The assailant remained unidentified.
