Incident Summary:

10/28/1999: In Northern Ireland, Army bomb disposal experts defused what police considered to be a particularly deadly device, which would have caused death or serious injury had it exploded. The bomb, attached to a container of fuel and packed around with 6-in nails, was left on the windowsill of the home of a Catholic family at La Salle Park off the Falls Road. Police suspected that Loyalists were responsible for the attack.
