10/10/1999: 13 peasants were killed near Heleconia, Colombia. Their bullet-riddled and tied-up bodies were found dumped in groups of two or three on a roadside. Authorities believe that an ultra right-wing paramilitary group is responsible but there is no immediate indication of which group.
