Incident Summary:

09/27/1999: Fawzi 'Abd-al-Karim al-Saghir, commander of the Bayt Yahun crossing of the Lahd Militia of the South Lebanon Army, was killed, and Jihad Mahmud Qasim, a militia member, was wounded when a roadside bomb exploded in Southern Lebanon. The Islamic Resistance was suspected of planting the device.
