09/06/1999: Pro-Indonesian militias fired into the International Red Cross compound in an unnamed location in Indonesia. They then separated the East Timorese from the foreigners and took the East Timorese away. The foreign aid workers were turned over to the police. It is unknown what happened to the hostages.
