07/02/1999: The National Union for the Total Independence of Angola (UNITA) attacked a Catholic Relief Services (CRS) humanitarian convoy in Baixo Pundo, Angola. Fifteen people died and twenty-five others were wounded from this attack. There was some property damage, including a number of vehicles that were burned by the perpetrators.
