Incident Summary:

06/06/1999: Two pipe bombs were defused by the Army after being found in the Twinbrook area of west Belfast, Northern Ireland. The two devices, found in the gardens next to apartments on Acacia Avenue, were believed to have been planted the previous night. No casualties were suffered in this attack, the perpetrators of which were unknown.
