03/19/1999: In a series of related incidents, three individuals were kidnapped at a Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) roadblock at La Loma del Balsamo in Magdelena Department, Colombia. In addition, Orlando Pacheco was killed and Victor Esper Gasir was wounded when they refused to stop at the roadblock. The fate of the kidnapped was unknown.
