Incident Summary:

08/03/1998: In a series of related incidents, rebels belonging to the Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia (FARC) and the National Liberation Army (NLA) conducted at least 42 attacks throughout the country on August 3 and August 4, 1998, leaving 275 dead and many wounded. In this incident, the FARC and the ELN detonated a car bomb in front of a police station in Cucuta, Colombia. There were no reports on whether people were killed or injured, although it was assumed that there were some casualties.
