09/30/1992: Members of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) attacked Konwewa village in Sri Lanka. The rebels fired guns and mortars at an army detachment guarding the Sinhalese village. 15 civilians and four soldiers were killed in the attack.
