Choosing research methods to match research goals in studies of disaster and terrorism

Abstract: 

Ten different researchers investigating the same disaster might come up with 10 very different studies with important, nonoverlapping findings.  This chapter in concerned with choosing the design and methods that can best answer the researchers' questions.
