State Department's Hughes Cites START Data

In an op-ed in the September 17, 2007, Washington Post, the U.S. Department of State's Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Karen Hughes explored declining levels of support for terrorism, al-Qaeda, and Osama bin Laden throughout the Middle East. In her piece "Sinking in the Polls". Under Secretary Hughes cites data from polls conducted by WorldPublicOpinion.org. These polls in Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Morocco were developed and funded by START in parternship with WorldPublicOpinion.org.
