START is happy to announce the latest release in its Research Brief series. The report, "The Use of Violence by Ethnopolitical Organizations in the Middle East," explores patterns of behavior by organizations in this often volatile region, providing insights on the degree to which organizations in this region employ violence in their efforts to bring about social or political change. The report also reveals changing patterns in the ideological composition of these organizations over time.
