Gary LaFree selected for World Economic Forum

Gary LaFree START Director Gary LaFree has been chosen as a new member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on Terrorism.

The World Economic Forum is an independent international organization whose mission is to improve the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

The Forum deals with issues such as economic growth and environmental sustainability, as well as developing various reports on topics such as global competitiveness and energy for economic growth.

As part of his role with the World Economic Forum, LaFree will travel to Dubai in mid-November to attend the Summit on the Global Agenda, which is billed as the world's largest brainstorming meeting working to shape the global agenda.
