08/16/2020: Security forces opened fire on 20 assailants planting explosive devices in Aroganga, Eastern Samar, Philippines. One assailant was killed and two soldiers were wounded in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
