07/20/2019: A sniper opened fire on a National Directorate of Security (NDS) member in Qurghan district, Faryab, Afghanistan. The NDS member was injured in the attack. This was one of two coordinated attacks in Qurghan on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
