Incident Summary:

11/22/2018: Assailants attacked an Afghan National Army (ANA) base in Zangitan, Kandahar, Afghanistan. At least 18 soldiers were killed and 16 were injured in the attack. Additionally, four soldiers were taken hostage. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
