07/22/2015: Assailants opened fire on a civilian in Istanbul city, Istanbul province, Turkey. The civilian was killed in the attack. The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that Mursel Gul was targeted because the PKK believed he was an Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) member.
