Incident Summary:

01/07/2015: A suicide bomber in an explosives-laden vehicle attempted to attack a police compound in Naw Zad district, Helmand province, Afghanistan. A police officer preempted the attack and shot the bomber, causing a premature explosion. The bomber and the police officer were killed in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
