01/07/2015: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle and assailants attacked peshmerga forces in Zummar area, Nineveh governorate, Iraq. An unknown number of peshmerga members were killed and injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
