05/02/2014: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at a joint military-police checkpoint outside El Tor town, South Sinai governorate, Egypt. In addition to the assailant, the blast killed one soldier and injured four others. Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis (Ansar Jerusalem) claimed responsibility for the attack.
