02/17/2002: Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) rebels attacked an airport in Sanphebaga, Nepal, killing 27 Nepalese policemen. Injuries to both sides were unknown. This attack appeared coordinated with an attack earlier that day on government buildings in Mangalsen.
