The Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law Swansea University seeks to appoint two Lecturers/Senior Lecturers who will contribute to the activities of the University’s interdisciplinary Cyber Threats Intelligence Centre (CyTIC). The remit of CyTIC includes:
- Online terrorist propaganda and countering violent extremism
- Online sexual offending
- Online drugs markets
- Digital activism
- Data protection
- Online intelligence and surveillance
- Research methods and ethics
The successful applicant’s teaching responsibilities will be concentrated primarily on the School of Law’s new MA in Cyber Security and Terrorism. We are seeking to recruit talented researchers with outstanding research outputs and impactful innovation and engagement activities. As such, applicants are expected to demonstrate an international reputation in their research field, or the potential to develop one.
